1400Miles, again.
There’s no reason this trek won’t hurt but there’s also no reason why this won’t be the greatest thing traveling across three states, again. From Austin, TX to Denver, CO, there’s a long wonderful road ahead of us. Behind us, though, among hills and mesquite, we’ve already fallen in love with what we’ll leave behind: oxygen-starved blood, trails of perspiration, but nothing of what really makes us who we are as the world morphs all around us at the speed of unrelentingly deep heartbeats. As blood pumps and life pulses, all we peddle for is change and the health and betterment of stubborn men.
We don’t fear death, so don’t fear the finger.
From the asphalt of Austin, it’s all Texas can throw at us. Across is malevolent landscape, soil dips and lifts, breeze blows in straight from the hottest solar flare to ever hemorrhage from our star’s surface, and the closer we get to sleep, the more our bodies beg to return home. The world is with us, again and always, especially those we peddle for.
Past the first push from Red Horn Coffee Co., all mattered was loving one word:
Forward.
All that mattered was loving one word:
People.
As we struggle to breathe, there’s only life and the feeling of being alive. Pain is temporary but for some suffering carries them to the very end. This pushes, compels, and moves us, again.
Journey with us for the next 1,400 miles, won’t you?
